Meet....

My newest niece, Brooklyn Shayne. Mom and baby are both doing great. Val was only in labor for 3 hours and pushed for 15 min. We should all be so lucky. She was born on Thurs. at 11.30am. Brooklyn weighed 7lbs 7oz. and was 20 in long. What a sweetie!

Oh, Reese

Today was my first official day as a SAHM. I say that because today is the first day I would normally be working and am not. Reese obviously knew this and decided to initiate me into my new job title. She added to her count of what I have now titled " What can Reese put in her nose today?" This time it was a bead. Not as big of a deal as past items, but this time I could not get it out by myself and Kyle was not home this time. Luckily his new job places him in Edmond so he is super close. I ran over to his clinic and he had it out in a matter of seconds. Relief. So now our running count is 6 items (that we are aware of), including this bead and also cheese slices( which I had failed to mention until now). Stay tuned people, I am sure there is more to come! Oye!

A Proud Moment

While we were in Wyoming I took the opportunity to have Ethan get his teeth cleaned for the first time. He has let me look at his teeth and sat in the chair, but never a "real" check-up. I was beaming through the whole appointment. He did so GREAT ! I knew he would do better if someone else would do the honors instead of yours truly....in case you were wondering why I just didn't do it myself. What a big boy! (sniffle sniffle)

We're Back

Hello blog-land. I am finally able to post something after my long slump. I have been not only busy, but also MIA. We went to Wyoming for a week to visit my family. We just returned yesterday and we are still trying to get back into the swing of things. We had a good time and the kids had a great time. We are all really happy to be home though. I will post more about our trip later. I don't have too many pics, but I will do my best to show you what I do have. I will say one thing though...It is flippn HOT here in OK. We were gone while it was really bad, but after being in 80 degree weather for a week, 100s is a real shock to the system!
