A Fun Visit

A couple weeks ago I had one of my oldest(as in a long time) friends some to visit me. It was the first time since I have lived here that she has been here. We had so much fun! We did a lot of site seeing and even some shopping. I was really excited about getting to see all of the tourist sites, because I have not seen ALL of what this city has to offer. I find that when you live somewhere you don't ever take advantage of all the places most people who visit flock to.
What visit to OKC would not be complete without a trip to Bricktown. We had dinner at Toby Keith's. We later did the WaterTaxi.


Then we headed to the Oklahoma National Monument and Museum. I had been the Monument, but had never been in the museum. I was highly impressed! For those of you who have not been, it is a MUST! It was very moving. We took a pic outside...I kinda felt funny about smiling in this pic considering, but I didn't want to look mad either.
Another must, a visit to the world famous Pops! I hate this first pic cause it looks like the cheeseburger I ate went straight to the love handles!
