Day 2 on our fab cruise landed us in Key West. With kids in the mix, we decided touring the city would be the best idea. We took in some of the local tourist sites and learned about the history of the town. We also visited the southernmost area of the US. The line to take a pic was too long, so you will just have to trust me that we were there. We ended our tour with a fabulous local treat, key lime. I myself got a keylimade. It was delish! Here is some of the
fam at the Shipwreck museum, where we learned about some pirate history.
Key West also had a little, and I do mean little, aquarium you could visit. It was pretty lamo except for this "hands on" water tank. The kids got to pick up and "pet" all sorts of great sea creatures, but they were really only brave enough to touch the starfish.
I even made a friend with a local......
ok so it's a statue, but I thought he was cute.

What day would be complete without a character greeting? So, Captain Hook got the honors. They were a little
apprehensive at first, but finally got the courage to let us snap this shot.
